The peacock is often named "King of Birds." While peahens are not nearly as colorful, I've always thought the peacock to be a bird with one of the most beautiful plumage, putting to mind the 18th century French court, which inspired this image and its title in part. Another inspiration is `thienbao who is just amazing, particularly in color choices and skin tone.
I'm not sure how long I've been working on this but I've stayed up a few nights for sure @_@ gotta go do my 112308 projects and papers now OTL
